Sapienza, through the Department of Psychology of Developmental and Social Care Processes, will participate in the Erasmus+ project entitled: "Developing a Culturally Competent and Compassionate LGBT+ Curriculum in Health and Social Care Education", coordinated by Professor Roberto Baiocco. The project aims to train teachers/educators and social workers on issues related to sexual orientation and gender identities and to develop a culturally competent and compassionate LGBT+ curriculum in health and social care education. Seven European partners are involved in the project.
Objectives: (a) to develop teaching tools that teachers/educators and social workers can use to improve their knowledge on LGBT+ issues; (b) to implement the knowledge of health professionals, social workers and health experts on how to promote wellbeing; (c) to prepare and disseminate a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC).
