Scientific Technical Committee on Diversity and Inclusion - Programme
The Scientific Technical Committee on Diversity and Inclusion, created by Sapienza to tangibly support the theme of rights, comprises professors, technical-administrative staff and students and works to promote processes of inclusion and combat all forms of discrimination within the University.
The Committee collaborates with other Sapienza bodies operating in similar fields, such as the Guarantee Committee, the Confidential Counsellor, and the Scientific-Technical Committee for Sustainability, in order to implement strategic plans and projects, enhance the potential of individuals, support equality and integration, promote collaboration and create new networks, both internal and external, to foster inclusion policies.
Programme:
- Internal hearings with other bodies/groups' representatives
- Brainstorming proposals for events developed in subgroups
- Shared initiatives to be launched and their priorities
- Elaboration of external proposals regarding the Rector and Sapienza governing bodies
- Elaboration of proposals to the academic community and possibly to the media with in-person or online public events.
Programme developed through the work of specific subgroups:

- Identification and intervention on architectural barriers
- Promotion of a non-hostile language and communication
