Art. 21 - €30 FIXED AMOUNT CONTRIBUTIONS

This article indicates the cases in which the one-off contribution is a fixed amount of €30, independent of the Isee value, which is due if you do not fall within the more favourable reduction ranges set out in Article 20. Those who pay the one-off fixed amount of €30 are in any case required to pay the stamp duty and the regional tax, if applicable. The cases for exemption from the regional tax are determined by the Lazio Region and DiscoLazio Sapienza with their own autonomous provisions.

The candidates below pay a €30 fixed amount contribution:

a.    those who are successful and eligible in the ranking list of the scholarships granted by the Lazio Region through DiscoLazio (art. 22);

b.    recipients of Italian government scholarships (granted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) or foreign government scholarships of at least nine months' duration, granted for enrolment in university courses (excluding single courses or semester courses). The payment of €30, to which the regional fee must be added, will be produced on Infostud by the Student Affairs Office when the latter receives the documentation proving the awarding of the grant. Those with an international qualification must contact the Student Affairs Office of the Hello - Foreign Students unit.

Those participating in the Erasmus Mundus exchange programme for a period of 10 months or more are excluded from the exemption.

Those enrolled in distance-learning degree programmes in agreement with the "Consorzio Nettuno" and distance-learning courses in collaboration with Unitelma Sapienza University of Rome (see art. 26) are also excluded from the exemption;

c.     most deserving students (see art. 25);

d.    those sentenced to measures restricting or depriving them of their liberty who are unable to produce the Isee declaration;

e.    those enrolled in the School for Advanced Studies;

f.     those to whom the Rector grants a "one-off" exemption. The Rector's "one-off" exemption is an extraordinary relief measure, granted to those who are enrolled in the course, in a particular and proven situation of hardship and with an Isee value not exceeding €13,000, and who have sat at least one exam in the academic year preceding the request. The exemption may only be granted once. The Rector may also grant a "one-off" partial exemption on the contribution due;

g.    those who fall into one of the categories indicated in Article 30 of Legislative Decree No 118 of 1971 and the victims and the families of victims of terrorism and organised crime referred to in Article 9 of Law No 302/90. The benefit is provided in the presence of poor financial conditions (Isee 2024 equal to €13,000). These students are required to contact their Student Affairs Office by e-mail to agree on how to send the documentation proving entitlement to the benefit;

h.    student-athletes with outstanding sporting merit (Art. 25);

i.      those who, upon reaching the age of majority, live outside their family of origin on grounds of a court order. This benefit is granted pursuant to Board of Governors Resolution No. 254 of July 21, 2020;
