January 27, is the Holocaust Memorial Day, in memory of the Shoah victims. This year, MuSa - Musica Sapienza will participate in the event with a video inspired by this very day.

The Musa Blues Choir, directed by Maestro Giorgio Monari, will perform songs by two composers killed in the Nazi concentration camps. The texts and music will provide an opportunity to reflect on the need to ensure that tragedies, such as the Holocaust are never repeated.

Rectress Antonella Polimeni will introduce the video with a message expressing Sapienza's commitment as a place of education, culture and research: "It is important - highlights the Rectress - that this remembrance is expressed throughout the year with study activities in all disciplines so that what has been done remains etched in our memory as Italian and European citizens in the fight against all forms of racism in favour of acceptance, integration and dialogue between cultures".
