1.  Benefits and conditions

This benefit provides for a flat annual enrolment fee of just €30, plus regional tax (€140) and stamp duty (€16), and is granted if you are not eligible for more favourable reductions (Articles 44, 56 and 57).

To be eligible for this benefit, you must have participated in one of the following competitions held in secondary schools:

- Chemistry Olympics - Chemistry Games, organised by the Italian Chemical Society (SCI - Società Chimica Italiana); or

- Neuroscience Olympics https://odn.sins.it

A. For the Chemistry Olympics, the benefit is granted to four students, in order of ranking, among those in the top 10 positions in the general ranking of the Chemistry Olympics for secondary schools and who enrol in bachelor's degree programmes in Chemical Sciences at Sapienza.

This benefit is granted only for the year of enrolment, in accordance with the resolutions of the Academic Senate no. 201 of 11 July 2023 and the Board of Directors no. 259/23 of 18 July 2023. The names of the beneficiaries are communicated to the Administrative office by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences, in the number approved by the relevant governing bodies;

B. For the Neuroscience Olympics, the benefit is granted to three, in order of ranking, among those who rank in the top 10 positions in the general ranking of the Neuroscience Olympics who enrol in bachelor's degree programmes in Biological Sciences or Agro-Industrial Food Biotechnology at Sapienza. This benefit is granted only for the year of enrolment, in accordance with the resolutions of the Academic Senate no. 2 of 16 January 2024 and the Board of Directors no. 26 of 26 January 2024.

The names of the beneficiaries are communicated to the Administrative office by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences, in the number approved by the relevant governing bodies.
