Hackathon on Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence

CYBERHACK4AI, registration open for the Hackathon on Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence

CYBERHACK4AI, the design marathon for students, PhD students, researchers and lecturers from the Faculties of Sapienza University of Rome for the development of innovative solutions in the field of Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence, is now underway.

CYBERHACK4AI is produced by the Lazio Region through Lazio Innova, together with Saperi&Co of Sapienza University of Rome and with prestigious partners and advisors such as Telsy, Asc 27, Zest and Cyber 4.0.

It is a 24-hour full immersion, during which students will challenge each other to come up with new business ideas and launch innovative solutions through the use of new technologies.

The hackathon will be held from October 1 to 3, 2024 in the Saperi&Co Centre of Sapienza University of Rome (Piazzale Aldo Moro 5).

Participants will have free access to the lab's technologies and facilities and will take part in workshops, webinars and short mentoring sessions. A maximum of 80 people will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis for a total of 16 multidisciplinary teams.

Cash prizes and services are up for grabs for the three winning teams: 10,000 euros for the first place; 4,000 euros each for the second and third projects. The teams will have to create a company within 6 months after the hackathon.

The projects will also have free access to all the equipment provided by the Rete Spazio Attivo and the regional FabLabs to complete and improve the prototype and the proposed solution. Sapienza University of Rome will support the teams in the evaluation process and subsequent patenting.
