Directorial Decree No. 1233 of 01-08-2022 (in Italian) is the first edition of the FISA Call for Proposals, through which the Ministry of University and Research intends to support industrial research and experimental development project proposals submitted by individual researchers (Principal Investigators, PIs) that demonstrate outstanding originality and innovation with specific reference to the international state of the art, and are capable of contributing to the resolution of important social issues and introducing significant and competitive innovations into the socio-economic and industrial context.

Project proposals may be submitted by an individual (Principal Investigator) jointly with the Host Institution where the project activities are expected to be carried out.

Proposals must have a duration of between two and five years and a total cost between €5 million and €10 million.
