As part of the Gen26 Education Programme, the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic Torch Relay stopped at Sapienza University, passing through the Main Campus. This special event brought the academic community together to embrace Olympic values, with 21 Sapienza students chosen as torchbearers running a section of the relay route across Italy. This event took place at the heart of Europe's largest university, symbolising the union of academia and the Olympic spirit.
