
17th Annual CoDAU Conference
The 17th Annual CoDAU Conference, the Association of Italian University Director Generals, will be held in Alghero (Sardinia) on Sept. 26-28, 2019 The conference theme - “A University Open to the World: Dimensions of Internationalisation” – will address services for students from around the world and the simplification of bureaucracy. Moreover, the conference will also focus on the environmental sustainability of university facilities. Indeed, the sustainability of human activities is at the heart of the current international affairs and, as educational and research centres, universities are pivotal in this debate.
Giovanni Azzone, current Rector of the Milan Polytechnic, and Francesca Gagliarducci, vice Deputy Secretary of the Presidency of the Cabinet, will present "Sustainable Universities: Projects and Actions for Environmentally-aware Campuses,” the result of national research conducted by CoDAU in collaboration with the Milan Polytechnic MIP. Speakers include: Eugenio Gaudio, Rector of Sapienza University; Gaetano Manfredi, Rector of the Naples “Federico II” University; Massimo Carpinelli, Rector of the University of Sassari; Fabio Rugge, Rector of the University of Pavia, and Daniele Livon, ANVUR Director General.
Sapienza will be present with a delegation of Area Directors and Director General Simonetta Ranalli.
