Agreement for projects and research on the memory of the Shoah signed

On Monday, October 25, Sapienza and the Shoah Museum Foundation, Jewish Community of Rome, Centre of Contemporary Jewish Documentation Foundation, Union of Italian Jewish Communities and Museum of Italian Judaism and the Shoah Foundation signed an agreement for research and training activities and cultural initiatives on the memory of the Shoah

A new project involving Sapienza and several Jewish organisations aimed at researching and educating younger generations about the Shoah was launched. On Monday, October 25, Sapienza and the Shoah Museum Foundation, Jewish Community of Rome, Centre of Contemporary Jewish Documentation Foundation, Union of Italian Jewish Communities and Museum of Italian Judaism and the Shoah Foundation signed an agreement for research, training activities and cultural initiatives on the memory of the Shoah.

The agreement provides for collaborations in areas of joint research: national and international research projects, cultural dissemination and training activities, research results publication, events such as conferences and exhibitions, creation of reference networks on Holocaust studies and on the role of racial medical theories in the Holocaust, websites and databases, organisation of higher education courses, advance professional courses, lectures in PhD programmes and the possible organisation of internships for students.
