Theatron - Ancient theatre at Sapienza has announced a competition for the production and staging of Aeschylus' The Suppliants, open to students, lecturers, PhD students, research fellows, scholarship holders and administrative staff of Sapienza University.
Salvatore Monda, director of the Theatron project, is coordinating the translation and adaptation of the textinto Italian, while maestro Adriano Evangelisti is coordinating the staging.
The deadline for applications is Monday, March10, 2026. Participants will receive credits and certificates of attendance for taking part in the project.
