On Monday, December 12, 2022, Rector Antonella Polimeni and Director General Simonetta Ranalli  took part in the traditional Christmas tree lighting ceremony held at the Piazzale Aldo Moro entrance.

This year the LED lights decorating the fir tree are powered by solar energy stored during the day by solar panels and released at night by special power generators.

In compliance with energy-saving regulations, the Christmas tree and avenue will be illuminated from December 12, 2022, to January 6, 2023, from 5.30 to 8.30 pm.
