CIVIS African-European Forum for Research and Education

From March 25 to 27, Casablanca hosted the first CIVIS Alliance forum, which focused on research and education projects carried out in collaboration with African partners.

The first CIVIS African-European Forum for Research and Education took place from March 25 to 27 at Hassan II University (UH2C) in Casablanca. Several lecturers from Sapienza University participated in the event, delivering presentations and leading seminars. The Forum concluded with the signing of the significant Africa Charter for Transformative Research Collaborations.
This historic gathering was designed to strengthen intercontinental collaboration, develop joint research-based education, and shape shared solutions to the most pressing social challenges of our time.
The CIVIS alliance unites 11 research-oriented European universities and 6 leading African universities with the aim of designing joint study programmes, promoting staff and student mobility, and fostering a socially engaged educational environment.
