Doctors sing their “canto libero” against Coronavirus

The physicians performed the well-known song “Il mio canto libero”, sung by Lucio Battisti, to exhort citizens to stay at home. The popular song has been rewritten by Mogol as a contribution to the battle against Coronavirus and in solidarity with the healthcare professionals who are actively fighting against the pandemic

One of the most famous songs by the Italian duo Mogol-Battisti, at the service of the battle against Coronavirus.

Professors and choir members of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of Sapienza University have been involved in the initiative created by the Federazione Italiana delle Società Medico Scientifiche (Fism) and then shared on the Ministry of Health's social media channels.

“Il mio canto libero”, purposely readapted by Maestro Giulio Rapetti Mogol, has become the “doctors' anthem” that exhorts the citizens to stay at home and contribute to the containment of COVID-19, in solidarity with the healthcare professionals who are actively fighting against the pandemic.
