On Thursday, May 16, 2024, in the University Chapel, the Sapienza community bid farewell to former Rector Giuseppe D'Ascenzo, who led our University from 1997 to 2004.
The ceremony, presided over by Father Ottavio De Bertolis, was attended by academic, local and political authorities, but above all by many colleagues, technical, administrative and library staff and students.
D'Ascenzo's family, represented by his son Fabrizio D'Ascenzo, whishes to express their gratitude for the support and affection shown at this sad moment.
