On Tuesday, November 12, the Academic Senate of Sapienza met for the first time with the participation of Loredana Segreto, the new Director General, who took office on November 1, 2024.
Rector Antonella Polimeni, on behalf of the members of the governing bodies and the entire University community, warmly welcomed the new DG and wished her all the best for her new appointment, convinced that her considerable experience and expertise in the university field, as well as her personal dimension of openness to dialogue, are the basis for a fruitful and serene performance of her work.  An honours graduate in Law and an expert in university management, Loredana Segreto has spent her career in Piedmont, rising to the top as Director General first of the University of Turin and then of the University of Eastern Piedmont.
