On Thursday, December 4, 2025, during the tree lighting and Christmas lights ceremony, Sapienza launched Formarsi per Donare: the first free online course, open not only to the university community, with the aim of promoting blood donation and raising awareness among young people about the culture of conscious blood donation.

The course combines perspectives from medical and psychological sciences, sociology and communication, law and ethics. Alongside the theoretical foundations, clear guidance will be provided on how to become a donor, from initial information to the suitability assessment, right through to the donation experience itself.
