The University and the Regional Administrative Court of Lazio signed a convention on November 8th to promote the exchange of resources and skills to benefit students

Wednesday Nov. 8, 2018, at the hall of the Academic Senate of the Rectorate, was presented the scientific and educational collaboration agreement between La Sapienza and the Regional Administrative Court of Lazio (The Italian acronym is TAR), in the presence of Rector Eugenio Gaudio and the President of the Lazio TAR Carmine Volpe.

The ceremony was attended by the President of the Council of State, Filippo Patroni Griffi.

The agreement plans to begin a collaboration between the two institutions starting from joint research projects that involve students in national and international scientific programmes, and allows them to access their respective libraries, consult books and magazines, attend seminars and courses .

In particular, the Tar has become available to welcome from the academic year 2018-2019, students attending PhDs, Specialization Schools and Masters Courses, as well as contributing to the identification of topics for monographs and thesis on topics of common interest.

"The agreement we signed today with the TAR - says Rector Eugenio Gaudio - is part of the collaboration that the University is activating with the major institutions of the country, a policy made possible thanks to the pool of multidisciplinary skills that our University is able to offer, starting from the law school of Sapienza, flagship of the illustrious Italian legal tradition ".

"The agreement, which establishes a virtuous collaboration on a scientific and institutional level - declares President Carmine Volpe - wants to continue the previous experiences of great relevance and sees the TAR of Lazio not only in resolution of disputes between private individuals and public administrations, but also in scientific education and in the study of essential issues that are of interest to the life of public institutions, as well as the concrete application of law".
