Meeting with Israeli Government Delegation

On May 30, 2019, Sapienza University welcomed a delegation composed of members of the Israeli Government and representatives of the EU Twinning Project for an exchange of views on Italian and Israeli experiences concerning National Qualifications Frameworks.

The delegation was received by Teodoro Valente, Deputy Rector for Research, Innovation and Technology Transfer, who presented the Sapienza Academic System and provided participants with an overview of the National Qualifications Framework used to evaluate learning results. During the meeting, Chiara Finocchietti, Representative of the Twinning Project and Deputy Director of CIMEA, presented the National Qualifications Framework and the issue of title recognition in the case of scant documentation. Ms. Finocchietti emphasised how both Italy and other European countries have the opportunity to establish good practices to tackle this issue which is growing out of proportion.

Sapienza participants included Tiziana Pascucci, Deputy Rector for Right to Education and Didactic Quality, Cristiano Violani, Coordinator of the University Evaluation Nucleus, Fabrizio Cumo, Faculty of Architecture, Giuseppe Foti, Manager of the Strategic Support and Programming Office, Anna Gambogi, Manager of the International Scientific Cooperation Office and Graziella Gaglione, Manager for Didactic Internationalisation and European Programmes.
