On May 30, 2019, Sapienza welcomed Sahin Karasar, Rector of Maltepe University (Turkey) to discuss research activities and student, academic staff and administrative personnel mobility.

The Rector was received by Bruno Botta, Deputy Rector for International Relations, and Fabio Grassi, Coordinator for the Iranian and Turkish Area.

The meeting served to discuss an international collaboration agreement and protocols in the fileds of Aerospace Engineering. Indeed, the University of Maltepe has invested significantly in this sector, developing an advanced research centre in aerospace technology, besides Architecture and Design Labs
