A new space has been opened in the Tumminelli building for Sapienza's Confidential Counsellor. A place where the entire student community, academic and technical-administrative staff and librarians can meet directly with Giorgia Ortu La Barbera, by emailing consiglierafiducia.sapienza@uniroma1.it.

Dr Ortu La Barbera, whose appointment has been renewed until June 30, 2025, has long dealt with issues concerning differences within organisational contexts, inclusion of diversity, and organisational development with a focus on people-oriented cultures.

The role of the Counsellor, based on the Sapienza Code of Conduct against sexual harassment, is to provide advice and assistance to victims and to help resolve cases submitted to her, in order to prevent and deal with possible situations of gender-related harassment that may occur in study and work relationships.
