Monday, Nov. 26, at the Aula Magna of the rectorate, Sapienza will greet the students who begin the XXXIV cycle of the PhD. The ceremony has been organized to greet the students who begin their new Universiy Career. The Rector Eugenio Gaudio, the President of the PhD Committee of the University Guido Valesini and the coordinator of the Adi headquarters - Italian PhD students and PhDs association Sara Pilia, will be there to open the event. 

It will follow the intervantion "The Rise of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning" by Hector Geffner of the University Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.

There will be presented the university services to the new PhD students by Tiziana Pascucci, Rector for the Right to and Quality of Education and Romina Caronna, Head of the PhD area - Study Courses and Rigth to Education Are. Teodoro Valente, pro-rector of Research, Innovation and Technology Transfer and Ciro Franco, head of the Fund Raising and Projects Office, Asurtt-Area Support to Research and Technology Transfer, will illustrate the research opportunities.

The event will continue with "The voice of the Alumni" who will talk about their experiences in the University and in the field of research.

Then will follow the interventions by Luciano Saso, pro-rector of the European university networks and Erasmus institutional coordinator, by Anna Gambogi, Head of the International Scientific Cooperation Office, ARI-Area for internationalization, by Adriana Magarotto, director of the Sapienza Sbs-System Library, by Federico Masini , Director of Cla - University Language Center, by Franco Piperno, director of Sapienza Crea - Nuovo Teatro Ateneo, by Anna Maria Belardinelli, coordinator of Theatron-Teatro antico alla Sapienza and Maurizio Barbieri, director of the Sapienza Sport Center.
