Presentation of the “Da Vinci” Robot at the Policlinico Umberto I
On Thursday, July 18, at 11 am, the “Da Vinci X IS4200” Robot will be presented at the Umberto I General Hospital. The robot is a state-of-the-art device for mini-invasive surgery, acquired thanks to funding by the Fondazione Roma. The presentation will be held in the Aula Magna of the 1stMedical Clinic at the Policlinico Umberto I.
Sapienza Rector Eugenio Gaudio, the Honorary President of the Fondazione Roma, Emmanuele F. M. Emanuele; the President of the Fondazione Roma, Franco Parasassi; the Director General of hte Policlinico Umberto I, Vincenzo Panella, and the Health Director of the Umberto I General Hopsital, Ferdinando Romano, will be present at the ceremony.
During the ceremony, two short videos of robotic surgery will be presented and the plaque for the Fondazione Roma will be unveiled at the Ulrico Bracci Ward.
