On Wednesday, June 16, 2021, Rector Antonella Polimeni was appointed vice president of the Center for American Studies, one of the most prestigious institutes for U.S. studies in Europe.

Since its foundation, the Center has been committed to promoting dialogue between Italy and the United States and relations between Italian and American culture. To this end, it organises study days, seminars and conferences aimed at both specialists and the public, often in collaboration with other relevant Italian and American institutions.
