The university community expresses deep sorrow for the death of Francesco Valdiserri, a freshman at the Faculty of Art and Humanities.

Francesco, 18 years old, lost his life in a tragic accident on Thursday, October 20, while walking on a pavement on Via Cristoforo Colombo in Rome.

Sapienza University stands by the young man's family, friends and fellow students.
