Professor Lorenzo Imbesi, Director of the Sapienza Interdepartmental Centre for Design Research, has been elected to the 2019-22 Executive Board of Cumulus, the international association of universities and art, design and media schools.

Cumulus is the only international scientific association that promotes education and research in the fields of art and design. The society began as a forum for partnerships and the transferral of knowledge and good practices and currently has over 280 members from 56 countries.

The nomination was announced during the association’s general assembly that was held at Rovaniemi, Finland on May 30, 2019. The prestigious three-year appointment started in June 2019.
