
Sapienza in the Regione Lazio's task force to boost the economy after the COVID-19 Emergency
The Regione Lazio has set up the LazioLab task force to bolster the economy after the Coronavirus emergency. Professors of Sapienza University are also part of the team. They are experts in disciplines that will be helpful to different aspects of the so-called “phase 2”. For the medical field Andrea Lenzi (Professor of Endocrinology – Department of Experimental Medicine); for the field of economics Giuseppe Ciccarone (Professor of Political Economy – Department of Economics and Law), Mario La Torre (Professor of “Economics of. Financial Intermediation - Department of Management), Annamaria Simonazzi (Professor of Political Economy – Department of Economics and Law) and Massimiliano Tancioni ( Professor of Political Economy – Department of Economics and Law); for the field of statistics Pierpaolo D'Urso (Professor of Statistics – Department of Social Science and Economics); for the legal area Paola Chirulli (Professor of Administrative Law - Department of Economics and Law)
Each expert will work in 5 groups related to Sustanaibility (Mario la Torre), Infrastructures (Annamaria Simonazzi), Digitalization (Giuseppe Ciccarone), Simplification (Paola Chirulli) and Innovation (Giuseppe Ciccarone, Pierpaolo D'Urso and Andrea Lenzi).
Twenty are the experts part of the Regione Lazio team. They will take part pro bono, developing economic and social strategies. Among them, there are economists, medical doctors, biotechnology engineers, jurists, transport experts and a sinologist.
