On May 15-17, 2019, the Rome “Nuova Fiera” Exhibition Centre will host EXCO 2019, the first fair dedicated to international cooperation. EXCO 2019 will bring together all operators involved in this sector - universities, international agencies, civil society, private sector and chambers of commerce – with an innovative programme of meetings and showcase area. The fair, which is organized in collaboration with the Italian Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Ministry and the Festival of Diplomacy, is the perfect opportunity to present Sapienza’s partnerships with Africa and especially a series of strategic countries for Italian Cooperation (including Algeria, Morocco, Mozambique, Ghana, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Kenya) with the objective of promoting joint agreements and projects.

Sapienza will have a stand to showcases its academic programmes for cooperation and the projects it is running with partners and institutions in developing countries. In the “Auction Floor” Section, it will illustrate Project GREEN: Green Microfinance and Renewable Energies for Women’s Empowerment run by the Minerva LAB - Laboratory on Gender Diversity and Gender Inequality at the Department of Statistics.

Moreover, Sapienza will also participate in the Sapienza for Sustainability Workshop (May 16, 2019 (2-6 pm) with Deputy Cooperation Minister Emanuela Del Re.
