Kaisy, visiting professor at Sapienza's Department of Public Health and Infectious Diseases, will hold a seminar entitled Sustaining Higher Education Amid Crisis and Institutional Collapse. A Case Study from Gaza.

Kaisy is a professor of Public Health and Prevention and Head of the University College of Sciences & Technology in Gaza. He was one of the winners of Sapienza's Solidarity Call for Research and Teaching, aimed at lecturers from countries in critical economic or social situations, particularly Palestine. The scholar arrived in Italy at the beginning of last October, together with a colleague, a guest at the Department of Psychology of Development and Socialisation Processes, and a group of 18 Palestinian students and their families.
