Social challenges of digital and technological transformations: new CIVIS webinars for PhD students
CIVIS, the European Civic University, has launched a new series of free webinars for PhD students from its member universities. The webinars are an opportunity for participants to broaden their knowledge and acquire new skills through interdisciplinary activities.
The new webinar series, which will start in January 2024, will have as its overall theme: Social challenges of digital and technological transformations: From the Laboratory Desk to Life.
The courses will include an online session once a month on Fridays. Speakers from different CIVIS universities will participate and approach the topic from a multidisciplinary perspective. The series will conclude with a panel discussion with all the speakers.
The 2023-24 edition will showcase how researchers in the 'natural' sciences use cutting-edge digital technologies and applications, and how these research developments find their applications in different areas of industry, technology and civil society.
Participation in the webinars entitles each student to a certificate of attendance and 1 ECTS credit, equivalent to 1 CFU. For more information and programmes please click here.
