
Two Sapienza Professors Join the Italian Society for Statistical Physics
New members of the Executive Committee of the Italian Society for Statistical Physics (SIFS), which was elected on June 25, 2019 in Parma, includes Prof. Enzo Marinari, who is also one of the founding members of the association, and Prof. Vittorio Loreto from the Department of Physics.
The Italian Society for Statistical Physics was founded on May 20, 2019 in Florence to promote research and the dissemination of Statistical Physics and its interdisciplinary aspects.
The main activities of the association will focus on both university and post-graduate education and scientific research in Statistical Physics. In particular, SIFS will promote the diffusion of issues of interest and the participation of researchers in national and international debates.
