To mark World Autism Awareness Day, Sapienza University is taking part in the Autism&Uni project. Already running at other universities, this project helps people with autism navigate websites containing a wealth of information, such as Sapienza's. Against this backdrop, the Autism&Uni website, in Italian, has been created. Organised into three sections, it provides guides to complex procedures, tips for exam preparation and information on all the services offered by Sapienza, as well as student testimonials sharing their experiences. There is also a Toolkit to help you cope with student life, reduce barriers, and promote independence and self-confidence.
To promote the project and raise awareness of it, Sapienza has created a video on the website's functions and structure.

World Autism Awareness Day is the internationally recognised day designed to encourage UN member states to raise awareness of the issue.
