Evaluation Methods and Accreditation of Ph.D. Programmes
Ph.D. programmes are activated, following accreditation granted by the Ministry and based on the opinion of ANVUR, in accordance with European-level shared guidelines. These programs are managed by entities that conduct specific, broad, original, high-quality, and continuous activities in both teaching and research. Such activities must be appropriately recognized internationally in the fields relevant to the Ph.D. program, as established by Ministerial Decree No. 226 of December 14, 2021.

Inquiry Commission for Ph.D Programmes
With Rectoral Decree 135/2023, the Ph.D. Programs Review Committee was established. This committee evaluates proposals for the establishment or renewal of programmes and advises the Rector regarding the allocation of positions and Ph.D. scholarships among the proposals deemed worthy of approval. The scholarships are funded by budget allocations and ministerial funds, and the committee also defines criteria for awarding scholarships on a merit-based basis.
