Sapienza actively participates in Horizon Europe, the main EU funding programme for Research and Innovation for 2021-2027.

The Horizon Europe programme:

• Supports excellence in research.
• Fosters researchers' career development.
• Addresses priority social and economic challenges for the EU.
• Supports industrial competitiveness and encourages the development of innovative and pioneering technological solutions.

From January to November 2024, Sapienza's International Research Support Office has organised a series of info days and training activities to provide an overview of the various Horizon Europe funding programmes.
