NoiBene Programme
NoiBene is a psychological intervention programme dedicated to all Sapienza students to prevent psychological distress through mental health literacy, the promotion of positive, flexible behaviour and the enhancement of life skills. Inspired by a guided self-help approach, the programme includes a series of learning modules on different aspects of psychological and relational functioning relevant to a person's well-being and fulfilment. NoiBene is currently delivered in Italian only. Services in English will be offered shortly.
How to join
There are two ways of joining the programme: individually or in a group.
Individual pathway: the student will meet his/her Tutor periodically through the e-learning platform and online meetings; the Tutor is a psychologist from the NoiBene Team, assigned during the enrolment phase, who will ensure that the project proceeds in the best possible way. The online modality allows each student to decide when to access the programme and how to balance the commitment according to his/her priorities.
Group pathway: involves participation in six group meetings held by members of the NoiBene Team. The meetings, which last about four hours, are held once every two/three weeks online or at the Faculty of Psychology (via dei Marsi 78). Each meeting focuses on a specific topic and will alternate theoretical explanations, practical activities and debates. Between one session and the next, the student, registered on the NoiBene portal, carries out the online modules relating to the topics dealt with each time.
Credits
At the end of the programme, a certificate of attendance will be issued; it may be recognised and valued in CFU (credits) as "Other Educational Activities - AAF" according to the indications of your degree programme board.
The NoiBene Team
Research and development activities involve graduands on psychology degree programmes, psychology graduates doing their post-graduate internship, PhD students and research fellows. The NoiBene groups are led and tutored by psychologists registered with the Ordine degli Psicologi (Italian Professional association of Psychologists) and training at the Psychology Specialisation Schools of Sapienza University, as well as at the Psychotherapy Specialisation School, affiliated to the Società Italiana di Terapia Comportamentale e Cognitiva (Italian Society of Behavioural and Cognitive Therapy), which has sponsored the programme.
