Competencies are the skills, knowledge and attitudes that a person has acquired over time and that enable them to perform a particular job effectively. In this sense, competency assessment is a process that helps to identify the strengths and weaknesses of one's CV and to identify opportunities for training and development.

Sapienza offers its students, who have personal experience in the artistic, social and expressive field, the opportunity to have their informal training recognised by passing a series of theoretical and practical tests in front of an expert assessor (usually a lecturer).
