QS Ranking: submitting contacts for academic reputation purposes
QS World University Rankings is one of the most renowned international rankings, in which Sapienza has been participating for years. A distinctive feature of this ranking is represented by two opinion polls called academic reputation and employer reputation, whose results account for 45% of the total score.
Institutions participating in this ranking have the opportunity to submit the names of academics and employers (employers from public and private institutions and companies that have employed graduates from the university in question), both international and Italian, for the purposes of the two surveys.
Sapienza has created a platform to collect academic and business contacts willing to participate in opinion polls, in particular for Sapienza's participation in the QS World University Rankings, which assesses reputation in the national and international university context.
The contribution of the entire scientific community is requested in order to collect a sufficient number of contacts of academics with whom our University has active and fruitful scientific and/or academic collaborations. For business contacts, Sapienza's placement service database will be used for the year 2025.
Essential contact information is collected using the Sapienza Network platform, which can be accessed using your email credentials.
The Sapienza Network platform also stores contacts provided by departments in previous years, in order to avoid duplication of names.
Data can be entered into the platform until January 27, 2026.

How to log in to submit an academic contact
Per accedere alla piattaforma si utilizzano le proprie credenziali di posta elettronica, ma è necessario essere profilati:
‒ è necessario fare un primo log e subito dopo comunicare all'indirizzo rankings@uniroma1.it di aver effettuato l'accesso e specificare la struttura di afferenza (mettere in cc il Direttore del Dipartimento e/o il RAD se opportuno).
To access the platform, you must use your email credentials, but you must be profiled:
‒ you must log in for the first time and immediately afterwards notify rankings@uniroma1.it that you have logged in and specify the relevant Department or Faculty (cc the Department Director and/or the Chief departmental administrative officer - RAD if appropriate).
If you have already been profiled in previous years, you can access the platform directly.
What will the contact receive after the submission?
The system is set up to automatically send a personal message to the contacts entered in order to obtain consent for data processing, in accordance with current legislation, for the purpose of sending the contacts to QS.
