Qualification Diplomas

In order to practice the profession corresponding to your university degree in Italy, you have to pass a state exam that will certify you to practice the said profession.
 
Please Note: Qualification Diplomas can be collected at the State Exam Office only upon appointment. For information, please mail the State Exam Office at segr.esamistato@uniroma1.it.

Qualification Diplomas obtained from 1957 up to and including 2018 are available.

How to collect your Qualification Diploma If you already have a Substitute Qualification Diploma

Documents required to collect your Qualification Diploma:

  • original copy of your substitute Qualification Diploma; If the substitute certificate has been lost, you may self-certify the loss using the self-certification form. In the event of theft, you must submit a copy of the report made to the judicial authorities.

  • a 16-euro tax stamp only for qualification obtained:

    • between the first session of 1981 and the second session of 2001

    • between the first session of 2015 and the second session of 2018.

There are no tax stamps for sale on campus, so it is advisable to purchase them before going to the State Exam Office.

How to collect your Qualification Diploma If you do not have a Substitutive Qualification Diploma

Documents required to collect your Qualification Diploma:

Payment receipt of the regional qualification fee, to be paid according to the region where the degree was obtained. For graduates in the Lazio Region, the amount is €113.62 to be paid by PagoPa. In the "reason for payment" (causale), please specify, in addition to the other information indicated on the DiSCo Lazio website, also the profession for which you are paying the regional qualification fee. Graduates from other regions should ask their university or region about the amount and how to pay.

Power of Attorney

The applicant can delegate a third party to collect the diploma. They must present a proxy on plain paper together with a copy of a valid ID card of both the delegate and the applicant.
