PLEASE NOTE: graduates in medicine and surgery qualifying under art.102 co.1 of DL 17 March 2020 no. 18, converted into Law No 27 of April 24, 2020, must contact their Students Affairs Office to collect their degree certificate indicating the professional qualification.
L.D. 27/2020 - NEW QUALIFICATION FOR SURGEONS
The Legislative Decree n. 18, March 17, 2020, introduced new regulations about the procedure on professional qualification for Surgeons.
Article 102, clause 1, establishes that the single-cycle Master Degree in Medicine and Surgery – Classe LM/41, qualifies to work as a surgeon, subject to successful eligibility for the pregraduate internship (as per MIUR Decree, May 9, 2018, n.58, Article n.3)
The same article, clause 2, establishes that graduates in Medicine and Surgery, whose internship was not carried out during their studies, can qualify by successfully attending a postgraduate internship (as per MIUR Decree, October 19, 2001, n.445, postgraduate internship)
Therefore the exam previously scheduled for April 7, 2020, or any other future exams, won't be held.

FOR CANDIDATES WHO FAILED IN THE INTERNSHIP
Candidates who have failed in the pre-graduate internship need to enrol again at iscrizioni-edsmedico@uniroma1.it, attaching, in one single file, the same documentation requested for those students who apply for the first time.
POSTGRADUATE INTERNSHIP
Read the call (in Italian) for postgraduate internships 2023.
Opening date for entries: on the 11th day of each month
Registration: by the 10th of each month
Internship starts the first working day of the month following the application deadline (e.g. applications from 11 January to 10 February, internship start 1 March)
Delivery of internship record book : upon convocation by the Student Affairs Office
Return of internship record book: by the 5th day of the month following the end of the internship
PLEASE NOTE: the placement will always be scheduled for the month following the month of registration. Therefore, if your intention is, for example, to start your internship in November, you should apply from September 11 to October 10 (those who apply from October 11 to November 10 will start their placement in December, and so on). Applications requesting a later start date will not be accepted.

b) check that your personal data on your profile are updated PERSONAL DATA – ADDRESS- QUALIFICATIONS AND DEGREES
c) go back to the Home Page
d) access “ESAMI DI STATO”
e) PRESENTA DOMANDA submit your request – follow the indicated steps
1 PERSONAL DATA – fields are already filled out
2 RESEARCH SESSIONS – write the profession you are interested in
3 DEGREE – flag the degree/qualifications necessary to take the exam in the chosen area. If your degree is not present, fill out the requested data and click on “inserisci”. If you are a graduand and your degree is present, flag “laureando”. If your degree is not present, fill it out yourself.
4 RECAP AND PRINT YOUR REQUEST – send your request and print the receipt
Within 24 hours of your submission on Infostud, you have to fill out the following Google form https://urly.it/34cb1 , attaching in one single file, the requested documents based on your situation:
- candidati che si iscrivono al tirocinio per la prima volta (candidates who enrol in the internship for the first time)
- candidati che non hanno superato il tirocinio valutativo (candidates who did not pass the internship)
- candidati assenti alla prova di tirocinio (candidates who were absent for the internship test)
- candidati assenti già iscritti come pre lauream alla sessione precedente (absent candidates already enrolled as “pregraduate” in the previous session)
If you have lost your credentials, please mail us with a copy of your ID card and we will help you. If you have never been a student of Sapienza University of Rome, you need to register on Infostud and receive the identification number and password necessary to access the system and enrol in the test. If you are a Sapienza graduate or enrolled in one of our courses (admission tests, master courses, specializations and PhDs included) you are already in the system and own an identification number and a password. REFUNDS FOR QUALIFYING DEGREES
As deliberated by the Board of Directors, qualification fees for graduands with a qualifying medical and surgical degree pursuant to article 102, paragraph 1 of Decree-Law no. 18 of 17 March 2020 (graduation sessions starting from June 2020), previously quantified as an additional € 270, will be replaced by a contribution of a variable amount calculated, for each student, based on their Isee and the same criteria governing the quantification of their degree programme’s enrolment fees for a maximum value of € 180.
For graduates with a qualifying medical and surgical degree pursuant to Art. 102, paragraph 1 of the Decree-Law no. 18 of 17 March 2020 (June 2020 and subsequent degree sessions) who had already paid the 270 euro qualification fee, the procedure for the refund of the amount paid in excess will be started automatically. To obtain the refund, you must register your personal IBAN in INFOSTUD and fill in the Google form HERE (the form must be filled in only after obtaining the degree).
