For "World Blood Donor Day 2021", the Italian National Blood Centre, in collaboration with the Italian Associations and Federations of voluntary blood donors (AVIS, CRI, FIDAS, FIODS, FRATRES) and DiCultHer, launches #HackDonor, a hackathon to raise awareness of the culture of giving among young people aged 18 to 45.

 

Younger generations can contribute to a significant cultural change towards awareness of the value of giving, understood as selfless giving and adherence to strong ideals of life: solidarity, voluntary work, health protection.

 

The hackathon is aimed at the development of digital projects, carried out in line with one of the five available challenges:

 

Students can participate individually or as a team.

Entrants must submit their digital projects by May 15, 2021. 

Winning projects will be awarded during the "World Blood Donor Day Global Event" to be held in Rome on June 14 and 15, 2021.
