Art. 47 - GRADES, AVERAGES AND CREDITS FOR EXAMS - EXAMS BONUSES

1.     Benefits and conditions

A. The exam bonus provides for a reduction in enrolment fees ranging from a minimum of €150 to a maximum of €300 and is awarded based on the merit you have achieved in your university career. The minimum value of the single contribution for the 2025-2026 academic year for those benefiting from the exam bonus is set at €30, to which the regional tax (€140) + stamp duty (€16) must be added.

B. The exam bonus cannot be combined with the reductions provided for in Article 44.

C. To benefit from the exam bonus:

- you must be enrolled in a programme;

- if you enrol in the 2025-2026 academic year in the second year of a three-year degree programme or a single-cycle master's degree during the 2024-2025 academic year, you must have acquired at least 10 credits between 10 August 2024 and 10 August 2025;

- If you enrol in the 2025-2026 academic year in the third year of a three-year degree programme or in the third, fourth, fifth or sixth year of a single-cycle master's degree programme or in the first or second year of a two-year master's degree programme, you must have acquired at least 25 credits between 10 August 2024 and 10 August 2025.

- you must have an average grade of 24/30 in your exams, calculated on all exams taken and for your entire previous career;

- you do not have a more favourable benefit (Art. 44);

- You must be among the top 15% of students in terms of credits and grades awarded, as automatically identified by the Infostud system.

D. You cannot obtain the exam bonus if:

- You enrol in a three-year degree programme;

- you enrol in the first year of a master's degree and have been awarded a degree from another university.

E. Criteria for granting the exam bonus

The system will take into account all credits acquired through graded exams in previous years (starting from enrolment) and up to 10 August 2025.

Validated exams are excluded from the calculation.

The system calculates three assessment parameters:

E1. the sum of the CFUs (university credits) for each exam multiplied by the grade awarded divided by 100; SUM(CFUs*grade)/100;

E2. the weighted average of the grades;

E3. the date of birth.

The bonus is granted in descending order for parameter E1 (starting from the highest score), then for parameter E2 (starting from the highest average) and finally for parameter E3 (starting from the most recent date of birth).

F. If you are enrolled in the first year of a second level two-year degree programme, you are entitled to the exam bonus and will receive a 5% increase in your score if you have graduated by 10 August 2025.

2. Procedures

The system awards the bonus automatically and you do not need to make any request. To check whether you have been awarded the exam bonus, go to Infostud.
