My Merchandising: Winners of the 2nd edition

Here are the winners of the 2nd edition of the My Merchandising Competition promoted to drive students and university personnel to think of new products for the Sapienza brand

The 2nd edition of the My Merchandising Competition, promoted to conceive new products for Sapienza merchandising, collected a wide range of ideas submitted by student and university personnel. The extensive participation in the competition has made the Sapienza community and its merchandising catalogue even more creative.

The evaluating committee allocated three awards consisting of Sapienza Store coupons (€500/€350/€150) to the following proposals:

  • 1st Place: Melissa Sessa – Sapienza “Hand” ergonomic notebook – to make it easier for students with learning disabilities to take notes;
  • 2nd Place: Alessio Vespa – Po.SA.mboo – Taste Naturally – for Sapienza eco-friendly bamboo cutlery in a handy container;
  • 3rd Place: Francesco Barcellona – Sapienza Sprout – Cultivate Knowledge and Live in Harmony with Nature – for a pencil that becomes a plant sprout.

The Sapienza Merchandising Project, which was started thanks to student ideas and contributions, has developed into a true catalogue of products and the opening of an on-campus shop. The spirit of the competition has always been to reinforce the identity of the Sapienza community by rewarding those who conceive their daily life at Sapienza in a creative manner.
