Open access publishing in Wiley journals
As of March 4, 2021, it will be possible to publish open access articles in the more than 1,400 journals published by Wiley, without paying anything for the so-called APCs (Article Processing Charges). As of this year, the APC charges are an integral part of the national contract stipulated and paid by the Sapienza Library System (SBS) through the Crui, approved by the Board of Governors on January 28.
Thanks to this contract, in addition to those already signed with Springer, American Chemical Society and Cambridge University Press, all Sapienza students can decide whether or not to take advantage of this opportunity when the journal accepts their article. Furthermore, reading access to all Wiley journals will be guaranteed, as in the past.
