1. Requirements and terms
A. Withdrawal from enrolment is a formal, irrevocable and unconditional act that entails the termination of your university career in relation to the degree programme from which you are withdrawing.
B. After withdrawal, you cannot use the teaching and administrative services for the programme you have withdrawn from, except for requests for certificates.
C. If you have a residence permit for study purposes, withdrawal from enrolment will result in the loss of validity of your residence permit and you will not be able to enrol at other Italian universities for the same academic year. After withdrawing, in order to re-enrol, you must return to your country of origin and apply for a new study visa, as provided for in the Interministerial Circular on “Procedures for the entry, stay and enrolment of international students and the related recognition of qualifications for higher education programmes in Italy”.
D. Following your withdrawal, you may re-enrol in the same or another degree programme, provided that it is the university system D.M. 270/04, in accordance with the procedures set out in the calls for applications/notices regulating admission.
E. If, after withdrawing, you re-enrol, you may request recognition of the exams taken in your previous studies, in accordance with the procedures specified in Article 22.
2. Procedures

3. Deadlines
You may withdraw from enrolment at any time of the year.
4. Costs
The application to withdraw from enrolment requires the payment of a stamp duty of €16.
If, at the time of submitting the application, you have outstanding fees, you do not need to settle your payments; however, if you have already paid your enrolment fees, you are not entitled to a refund.
