CLINICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL NEUROSCIENCE AND PSYCHIATRY
La prova orale consisterà in un colloquio volto a valutare le conoscenze scientifiche necessarie a svolgere l'attività di ricerca oggetto del bando e le eventuali attività di ricerca svolte in precedenza.
These are the objectives for the different curricula: 1) The objective of the Curriculum in SENSORI-MOTOR NEUROSCIENCES is to study the physiological mechanisms of the motor and sensory systems and to learn neurophysiological study techniques and methods capable of assessing the functionality of motor and sensory systems. 2) The objective of the Curriculum in NEURORIABILITY is to study the neural mechanisms underlying the functional recovery of neurological disorders (stroke cerebri, neurodegenerative ataxias, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis). 3) The objective of the Curriculum in EXPERIMENTAL NEUROLOGY is to investigate the mechanisms underlying alterations in brain metabolism, neurodegeneration, and demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system. 4) The objective of the Curriculum in NEUROLOGICAL, NEUROEVOLUTIVE AND PSYCHIATRIC DISORDERS IN EVOLUTIONAL AGE is to acquire the ability to design appropriate experimental trials in relation to the different neurobiological bases peculiar to the three different areas of relevance to the discipline, such as neurological, psychiatric and developmental disorders. 5) The objective of the Curriculum in IMPLANTOLOGY AND HEARING NEUROSTIMULATION: is to study the effects and effectiveness of implant neuro-stimulation on auditory function, and speech development and recovery. 6) Objective of the Curriculum in PSYCHIATRY: EARLY INTERVENTION IN PSYCHOSIS AND HUMOR DISORDERS: study of the prevention of juvenile distress and early treatment of psychosis and mood disorders, which represent the new frontier of psychiatry. 7) NEUROPHYSIOLOGY Curriculum Objective of the Curriculum in Neurophysiology is the study of nerve functions at the cellular level, at varying degrees of complexity, ranging from simple postsynaptic signals in specific cellular regions to modulatory events involving intricate networks of neuronal and glial cells.
