Our Career Service offers students and graduates a professional job orientation service to support the development of their employability in the delicate transition phase from university to work. In particular, the Career Service is committed to fostering awareness and the ability to undertake effective job search activities, identifying and enhancing personal resources according to the educational background and professional aspirations.

Vocational guidance
The vocational guidance service analyses professional objectives and career paths most in line with one's aspirations and explores job profiles related to one's degree programme to identify an effective action plan. During the meeting, students and graduates will get helpful information on the most effective tools and channels for an active job search.
Skill assessment
The skill assessment service identifies one's strengths through reviewing training experiences, skills, knowledge, potential, and attitudes.
The following aspects will be analysed:
- analysis of one's current situation, which motivates one to seek the service;
- mapping of one's path in terms of training, work, personal interests;
- acquisition of a greater awareness of one's own skills, knowledge, potential, and values
- identification of the individual's professional development based on one's own aspirations, strengths and areas for improvement
- definition of a professional project and the corresponding strategy to pursue it.
CV Check
The CV Check service reviews and supports the drafting of CVs and motivational letters also for specific job applications. The service provides for a customised analysis of the CV and motivational letter, starting from the choice of the available templates up to the organisation of professional/training experiences and the enhancement of one's soft skills.
The CV Check service in English reviews and supports the drafting of CVs and motivational letters in English. The service will analyse language, style and content, and the interview can be carried out in English.

Career Lab: practical job orientation workshops
The Career Labs, job orientation and skills development workshops designed and delivered by the Career Service, aim to help students and recent graduates take their first steps into the world of work, to make more informed choices about their professional future with greater awareness and to gain confidence in facing the selection process. The language in which the workshop takes place is indicated.
Career Lab: first round of meetings 2023
Through face-to-face meetings with Career Service counsellors, students and recent graduates will have the opportunity to take part in group activities, and to test themselves with practical exercises, role playing and assigned tasks. Group dynamics will facilitate discussion, exchange of ideas and information among participants, activating processes of creativity and development of decision-making skills.
The Career Labs are repeated periodically throughout the year to give everyone the opportunity to participate, depending on their educational and/or personal commitments.

The workshops have a limited number of participants and are held in person at the MOWE Classroom Palazzina Tumminelli - Building CU007 - Main Campus.
The language of each workshop will be indicated on each presentation section.
Participation is useful for the acquisition of the "Career Management Skills" Open Badge .

Coaching with professionals
Bip - Business Integration Partners S.p.A. has launched a new one-to-one coaching service for Sapienza STEM students.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet with human resources managers for a one-hour one-on-one coaching session, where they will be able to deepen topics aimed at launching their professional careers. This new service is free of charge.
