Unit for Specialisation School Accreditation and Degree Programme Agreements

The Unit oversees the processes relating to the accreditation of medical specialisation schools, as well as the management of regulations and the stipulation of agreements for degree programmes. In particular, it oversees activities relating to:

  • establishment, activation/deactivation, modification and accreditation of medical specialisation schools, as well as of the relative didactic regulations, verification and updating of the relative standards and requirements, through support for the drafting of the correlated ministerial database, in accordance with the methods defined by the MUR, CUN and the National Observatory for Specialised Healthcare Training (ONFSS) and the issuing of the relative DD.RR;
  • public communication of 1st and 2nd level courses and programmes through the official Catalogue;
  • management of the procedures for issuing and updating Sapienza Regulations;
  • stipulation and management of framework conventions for teaching and conventions for national and international inter-university courses;
  • procedures for the allocation and transfer of funds to partner universities in national inter-university study courses;
  • stipulation and management of conventions for the activation and operation of study courses, including those in the health professions;
  • management of the procedures required to determine the educational potential for courses with programmed access, including the compilation of the specific ministerial database;
  • support to teaching structures for the compilation of the management of classrooms and timetables of the degree courses;
  • technical and administrative support to Sapienza's Didactic Commission in collaboration with the Unit for Planning and Accreditation of courses and programmes;
  • collaboration with the competent Sectors of the Services to University Structures Area for teaching reporting procedures and payment of researchers;
  • management and updating of the General Regulation of Honours Programmes, as well as verification of the conformity of the regulations of the degree courses with the aforementioned General Regulation;
  • management and updating of the Minor;
  • Minor activation.
