il senato accademico in seduta

The Academic Senate condemns all forms of violence, expresses solidarity with the victims of war and terrorism and joins in calling for peace

On March 26, 2024, the Academic Senate unanimously condemned all forms of violence and prevarication and rejected all aggressive and undemocratic attempts to impose opinions and to undermine the decision-making bodies formed by the elected representatives of the various components of the academic community, who have the right to bring the voice and opinions of the people they represent to these bodies.

The Senate unanimously shared the Rector's solidarity with the victims of war and terrorism in the world, most recently the victims of the vicious attack in Moscow.

It also echoed the call for peace, for an end to the deaths of innocent civilians.

During the session, no notes were received from the members of the Senate by the students who had been involved in the occupation of some areas of the Rectorate building.

The Rector wanted to thank all those who had worked to ensure that every employee working at the Rectorate building, and the people who were demonstrating, were guaranteed safety and the smooth running of their activities.
