The Botanical Garden of Rome reopens to the public
The Botanical Garden of Rome, the capital's green jewel, part of the Sapienza Museums, has reopened to the public. Reservation is compulsory, and admission is reduced, given the challenging times we are experiencing.
The reopening was decided based on the indications provided by the University offices and in line with all the other European capitals; the visits are carried out in total safety following all the measures provided for by the anti-COVID prevention protocols.
On Tuesday, December 15, there will also be the presentation of the book "Rose Tè, patrimonio di domani" by Nicoletta Campanella, which can be followed on the Botanical Garden's social media channels. Nicoletta Campanella, author of the book, Marcello Barbanera, director of the Sapienza Museums, Giovanna Alberta Campitelli, vice-president of Apgi and Beatrice Barni of the historic "Rose Barni" nursery in Pistoia will attend the event. The presentation will be introduced by Fabio Attorre, director of the Botanical Garden of Rome.
