Were you born between 1997 and 2004? Are you curious, dynamic, passionate about IT? Join the free programme that introduces young people to the world of cybersecurity. Registration will remain open until January 28. Challenge your innate talent: you will learn on the job and discover the fascinating mechanisms used in real malware, software vulnerabilities, and the most effective protection techniques in IT

This year, CyberChallenge.IT will return to introduce young people born between 1997 and 2004 to the world of cybersecurity. The programme is free of charge and will take place during spring 2021 in 33 different universities, including Sapienza!

The programme will reach its top point during a local and a national competition where teams from the 33 Italian universities will compete. The best team will have the chance to join the Italian National Cyber Defender Team and compete in the European Cybersecurity Challenge next autumn.

Registration will remain open until January 28, 2021. It is a great opportunity to learn, have fun and lay the foundations for an exciting career in cybersecurity. No prior knowledge of cybersecurity is required, only good logic and programming skills.

The Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering "Antonio Ruberti"  (DIAG), Via Ariosto 25 will be holding the courses from February to May 2021 on Friday afternoons (5:00 pm to 6:45 pm) and Saturday mornings (9:00 am-1:00 pm) after an online pre-test on January 22-24, 2021 and an admission test on February 2, 2021. Should the emergency due to the Sars-Cov-2 pandemic continue, the training will be held online.

CyberChallenge.IT is organised by the CINI's National Cybersecurity Lab with the support of the Information System for the Security of the Italian Republic and the Ministry of Defence.
